PULLMAN - Washington State University men’s basketball player Noah Williams faces potential misdemeanors for allegedly scuffling with bouncers at a College Hill bar Thursday night.

Pullman Police were called to Valhalla around 8:30. Bouncers told police that the 20-year-old tried to get into the bar with a fake ID. A bouncer took the ID and Williams reportedly tried to grab it back causing an altercation. Williams left without the ID.

Pullman Police called Williams who reportedly said that he accidentally grabbed his cousin’s ID. Officers ran the ID and confirmed that it was fake. Officers will refer the case to the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office. Police will ask that Williams be charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault along with misdemeanor possession of a fake ID and minor frequenting a bar.

Williams was the second leading scorer on the Cougar men’s basketball team last season earning him an All-Pac-12 team Honorable Mention.
