LEWISTON - A career-high 21 points in Thursday’s upset victory over 18th ranked MSU-Northern, along with 18 more in a win over Providence, helped secure the Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors for Lewis-Clark State junior Jansen Edmiston. The Hermiston native helped the 21st ranked Warriors to a pair of big victories over the weekend, increasing the teams winning streak to six games.

In game one of the weekend, Edmiston fueled a Warrior comeback with her career-high in points. 20 of her 21 points that night were scored in the second half to push Lewis-Clark State past the Skylights 67-60. She added 18 points and six rebounds on Saturday.

The Warriors return home on Friday night to host 17th ranked Carroll at 5:30 P.M. in the LCSC Activity Center.
