MOSCOW - Saturday night was Tribal Nations Night in the Kibbie Dome as the University of Idaho Men's Basketball team took on the Montana Grizzlies. It was a career night for the former Clarkston Bantam Trevon Allen as he scored 36 points in 37 minutes, but ultimately it wasn't enough as the Vandals fell 82-71.
The Grizzlies (14-10, 10-3) proved why they sit atop the Big Sky Conference standings, earning the comeback victory over the Vandals (6-17, 2-10) after trailing at the half.
Allen, the Senior guard from Lapwai and the Clarkston High School graduate scored the first 11 points of the game for the Vandals on his way to a career high 36 points. Allen hit four 3's and knocked down 12 free throws in 37 minutes. He also tacked on five rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.
He wasn't the only Vandal to have a career night either, as Gabe Quinnett also put up a career high with 14 points. He knocked down four 3's of his own.
According to University of Idaho Athletics, Allen now has 1,188 career points and is seven points shy from tying Riley Smith for 12th all-time on the Vandals career points list.

Next for the Vandals will be a trip to Cheney to take on the Eastern Washington Eagles. That game will take place Thursday, February 13.
