PULLMAN – The City of Pullman held a bid opening at 10:00 a.m. this morning. Four bids were received from contractors for Project Downtown Pullman.
This project aims to improve Main Street from Spring Street to Grand Avenue. It includes the installation of new water, sewer, and storm mains, full street and sidewalk reconstruction, signal work, and landscaping. During construction, alternative pedestrian routes will be provided to ensure access to businesses.
City staff are currently evaluating the bids. A decision will be made at a Special City Council meeting on February 6th at 12:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. This meeting will focus solely on the Project Downtown Pullman contract.
Residents can attend regular City Council meetings, held at City Hall, 190 SE Crestview Street, Building A. They can also contact elected officials anytime by emailing city.councilmembers@pullman-wa.gov.
