SPOKANE – Approximately 781 Avista electric customers near St. Maries and the surrounding area will experience a planned power outage on Thursday, November 30. The planned outage will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. Impacted customers are located on Highway 3 from Meadowhurst Road to Pederson Hill and all of Benewah Creek Road.
Impacted customers will be notified. No road closures are expected during this outage.
During this time, Avista crews will be performing upgrades to their equipment in the area. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
