PULLMAN, WA - Washington State University Athletics has unveiled its 5-year strategic plan. “UNLEASH” was released to the public Wednesday after months of work.

The plan includes several objectives, including making the top 10% of Division 1 institutions in the Directors' Cup standings. The cup is awarded annually to the nation’s best overall collegiate athletic program. Other goals include maximizing revenues and spending efficiencies.

The revenue portion of the plan includes an evaluation of, “opportunities to play neutral site competitions that provide pathways to greater revenue potential.” Objectives also call for selling the naming rights to the football field in Martin Stadium.

Spending priorities include a new indoor practice facility for Cougar Football and upgrades to the Cougar Athletic Department’s staff offices in Bohler Addition.
