**ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR CHARLES BERGMAN**

On Friday, September 23, a nation-wide extradition arrest warrant was issued for Charles Bergman under the suspicion of Murder in the first degree relating to the death of his wife, Theresa Bergman, whose body was discovered in rural Lincoln County on September 22. 

Charles was last known to be driving a silver 2013 Chevrolet Impala, Washington license BLU5395. He should be considered dangerous and should not be approached. If seen, call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 509-725-3501 or dial 911.

A body found in rural Lincoln County, WA on Thursday afternoon is believed to be missing Moses Lake woman Theresa Bergman, who was reported missing along with her husband on Sunday, September 18. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Theresa's husband, 54-year-old Charles Bergman, is still unaccounted for.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, a farmer in rural Lincoln County found the body in tall grass along the side of Stolp Road off of Kintschi Road around 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The LCSO says the body matches the description of Theresa Bergman, who was reported missing on September 18 along with her husband and the subject of a regional search.

Theresa’s immediate family has been notified. Her body is now in the care of the Lincoln County coroner, and a medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. 

The search continues for 54-year-old Charles Bergman, who is still unaccounted for. He was last known to be driving a silver 2013 Chevrolet Impala, Washington license BLU5395.

MOSES LAKE - On Wednesday morning, the Grant County Sheriff's Office provided an update on the search for the missing couple from Moses Lake, as well as clarified initial information that was released. 

53-year-old Theresa Bergman was last seen at the Spokane International Airport around 12:40 a.m. early Sunday morning, September 18th, 2022. Her husband, 54-year-old Charles Bergman picked her up at the airport. 

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit have been following up on leads in this case as well as re-interviewing witnesses.

According to the GCSO, Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit have been following up on leads. After re-interviewing witnesses and reviewing video footage of the area, Detectives have not been able to confirm that 54-year-old Charles Bergman was actually last seen at home Sunday afternoon, which was initially reported.

After reviewing cellphone data for both missing persons, Detectives say it appeared there was a signal that was last recorded in remote Lincoln County. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was notified of this information and have checked the area, however the missing persons have not located. 

Grant County detectives are continuing to investigate this case and following up on leads as they develop.

MOSES LAKE, WA - The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance with locating two missing Moses Lake residents who are overdue to arrive back home.

According to the GCSO, 53-year-old Theresa Bergman was last seen at the Spokane International Airport around 12:40 a.m. early Sunday morning, September 18th, 2022. The husband, 54-year-old Charles Bergman from Moses Lake, reportedly had gone to pick Theresa up at the airport. Charles was last seen on Sunday afternoon on September 18th, 2022 at his apartment located on Arnold Dr in Moses Lake.

Both were reported missing by family members in Moses Lake on Monday September 19, 2022 after they did not return home as expected.

It is believed that Charles and Theresa may be in a silver 2013 Chevy Impala, with WA License BLU5395.
