COLFAX - The 23-year-old Lewiston man wanted on an arrest warrant for failing to appear at his felony eluding trial in Colfax has turned himself in.
Tyler Pedersen reportedly turned himself in at the Whitman County Jail in Colfax on Monday night (September 14). Pedersen failed to make it to his jury trial which was set to begin Monday morning in Whitman County Superior Court.
Pederson is accused of leading a sheriff’s deputy on a high-speed car chase near Uniontown on May 31. He was arrested by Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Langerveld, who says Pedersen led him on a pursuit on U.S. Highway 195 at speeds up to 100 MPH before he pulled over near the state line.
