SNOQUALMIE PASS - Travelers who have time-sensitive commitments on I-90 on either side of Snoqualmie Pass may want to consider adding extra time to their drive next week (Monday, July 26 through Friday July 30).
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, Eastbound I-90 will be closed from Cle Elum (milepost 85) to Ellensburg (milepost 106) from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 to 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29.
Westbound I-90 will close from Ellensburg (milepost 106) to Cle Elum (milepost 85) at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29 to 7:00 a.m. Friday, July 30. A detour will be available on US 97 and SR 10 which will add about 10 minutes of travel time. Crews are in the process of removing the last of the detour bridges as part of the Yakima River Bridge deck rehab project.
From North Bend to Easton, maintenance crews have lane and shoulder closures planned day and night for guardrail repair, drainage maintenance and pavement marker installation.
