COLFAX - The 65-year-old Clarkston woman who was arrested during a traffic stop in March with two pounds of methamphetamine has been sentenced.
Elsie Paradiso pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy to delivery meth in Whitman County Superior Court on Friday. Judge Gary Libey sentenced Paradiso to 6 months in jail.
Paradiso and 43-year-old Lisa Bond of Clarkston were arrested by the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop in March. Deputy Tyler Langerveld pulled the women over near Uniontown on U.S. Highway 195. Deputies found the meth and several hundred dollars in cash inside the vehicle. The sheriff’s office said the meth was likely intended for local distribution.
Bond previously pleaded guilty in the case and is set to be sentenced next week. Bond was driving the vehicle.
