Vehicle Damaged by Falling Rock on US12

OROFINO - Just before 6:00 p.m. Monday, the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office along with Clearwater County Ambulance and Rescue 3 responded to mile marker 48.5 on US12 to a report of a vehicle struck by a falling rock.

The CCSO says 47-year-old Vitaly Y. Sevostianov, of Greer, was traveling east bound on Highway 12 when his vehicle was struck by the rock, causing significant damage. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Jackson Towing.
