GRANGEVILLE - On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at approximately 3:10 a.m., the Idaho State Police responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on Highway 95 near milepost 236.9 in Idaho County.
According to the ISP, a 2007 Audi was traveling northbound on US95 when the driver, a 21-year-old male, reportedly fell asleep causing the vehicle to cross the center line and leave the roadway off the left shoulder. The vehicle then traveled down the embankment before overturning and coming to a rest approximately 30 yards down the embankment.
As a result, the 21-year-old male driver and a female passenger were both transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital. According to the ISP, neither were wearing a seatbelt.
The investigation into this crash by the ISP is ongoing.
