Four Killed Idaho Gag Order

Bryan Kohberger is accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022.

MOSCOW - The man charged in the killings of four Idaho college students appeared in Latah County District Court on Monday morning.

At the arraignment, a plea was entered for Bryan Kohberger of not-guilty in the murders of Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin in Moscow on November 13, 2022.

The arraignment comes just days after Kohberger was indicted by a grand jury for the alleged stabbings.

Originally, Kohberger wasn't due back in court until June, but the grand jury indictment last week allowed prosecutors to skip the preliminary hearing, where they would have had to show there is enough evidence to move forward with the case.

The trial is now set to begin on October 2, 2023, and last about six weeks.

The 28-year-old Monroe County, Pennsylvania native is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, as well as robbery.
