LEWISTON - After a thorough search, the process of finding a new manager for the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport has come to a conclusion. Michael Issacs was selected from a narrowed down pool of four candidates and voted in unanimously by the board Monday night.
Issacs brings experience to the position, as he had spent time as manager of the Pierre Regional Airport in South Dakota. He is expected to begin his duties sometime in March when he will take over for interim airport manager Clarence W. “Bill” McKown Jr.
Expanding flight options is one of the top priorities Issacs has in mind. He will make an annual salary of $125,000. The other three candidates included Mark Mellinger, Joseph Goetz and Jefferey Smith
