Lewiston Drug Arrest 4.24

LEWISTON - On Thursday, April 23, the Lewiston Police Department conducted a traffic stop at approximately 3:22 pm on a gold 2000 Buick Regal in Lewiston. The stop led to the arrest of a 19 year old Lewiston resident and a 40 year old Clarkston resident in the 700 block of 21st street, where two firearms, methamphetamine, marijuana, money, baggies and a scale were all seized as evidence.

19-year-old Chandler Black, of Lewiston, was arrested for Trafficking Methamphetamine after being found in possession of approximately 185 grams of methamphetamine, baggies, a scale and cash. Black also had a .45 caliber handgun concealed in his waistband when he was contacted.

40-year-old Casey Blimka, of Clarkston, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Blimka had been in possession of a .40 caliber handgun when he was contacted, and both subjects were booked into the Nez Perce County jail. A third subject, 21-year-old Mychal Lyn Nielsen-Blackmon, was in possession of a marijuana product, known as "dabs", and was released from the scene.

This was a multi-jurisdiction investigation. The Lewiston Police Department, Quad City Drug Task Force, Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office and K-9 unit along with the Idaho State Police had assisted in this investigation.
