CRAIGMONT - At about 2:19 a.m. Sunday, the Idaho State Police and other emergency crews were called to a crash on US95 at milepost 269.9 near Craigmont.

According to Idaho State Police, a black 2017 Chevrolet Trax, driven by 57-year-old Lydia Chanler of Grangeville, was southbound and went left of center. The Trax collided head-on a white 2011 Subaru Forester, driven by 18-year-old Taylor Bransford, also of Grangeville.

Police say Chanler was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene. Bransford was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston by air ambulance.

US95 was blocked for approximately 1.5 hours.
