MOSCOW, ID - The former University of Idaho football player accused of raping a female UI student inside her dorm room has entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Kyree Curington pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery in Latah County Second District Court on Wednesday. Curington was sentenced to 2 weeks in jail and placed on probation for just under 6 months by Judge John Judge.
He was initially charged with felony rape following the sexual assault in December. Vandal Football Coach Paul Petrino kicked Curington off the team the day he was arrested by Moscow Police.
Curington was a freshman defensive back for the Vandals when he sexually assaulted the woman.
