LEWISTON, ID - Nez Perce County is partnering with the City of Lewiston to support their efforts implementing a small business grant program for COVID-19 Relief. The program is modeled after the Idaho Rebounds - Business Grant program and uses a similar application.

The funding for the program comes from the Nez Perce County CARES Act funding allocation. Nez Perce County has set aside of $150,000 from current funding for this grant program with grant awards up to $15,000.

Eligible expenses for businesses and non-profits will be focused on keeping customers and members healthy and making Nez Perce County safer for residents and visitors. Eligible grant requests include:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Inventory
  • Equipment
  • Rent
  • Utilities

Businesses, non-profits, and organizations must have a qualified business, non-profit, organizational interruption or expense caused by COVID-19 related incidents or decisions including, but not limited to, local closure orders, need for personal protective equipment, social distancing requirements, increased costs, disrupted supply network, etc., that took place on or after June 20th , 2020.

The grant is open to all eligible businesses in Nez Perce County. Applications may be submitted through an application are available online at the City of Lewiston website.

Application deadline for submitting the application and supporting documentation is December 9, 2020.
