SPOKANE, WA – The ESPN College GameDay bus has arrived in Spokane in advance of Saturday night’s all-important West Coast Conference showdown between the #12 Gonzaga Bulldogs and #15 Saint Mary’s Gaels.
The College GameDay bus rolled into Spokane Thursday afternoon for the first time since 2009.
Although Saturday night’s game at ‘The Kennel’ is sold out, fans still have an opportunity to attend the College GameDay morning show for free! The popular College GameDay morning show will be broadcast on ESPN from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning, live from the McCarthey Athletic Center. The show includes host Rece Davis and analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and LaPhonso Ellis.
Fans are encouraged to bring signs, but a sign making station will also be available on the concourse.
Doors for the College GameDay morning show will open at 6:00 a.m. for Gonzaga students, and 6:15 a.m. for the general public. The show will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. Ticket information for the free College GameDay morning show can be found HERE.Â
The game between the two top-15 rivals will then be played Saturday evening, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Gonzaga (24-5) and Saint Mary’s (25-5) are firmly supplanted atop the West Coast Conference standings. Coming into Saturday’s game, the Gaels hold a slight advantage over the Bulldogs in the conference standings after beating them 78-70 in overtime earlier this season. In conference play, Saint Mary’s is 14-1 on the season, while Gonzaga is 13-2.Â
