CLEARWATER COUNTY, ID – On Tuesday, February 14 at approximately 11:10 p.m., Clearwater County Deputies responded to the area of Freeman Creek for a report of an overdue person.
According to police, 19-year-old Lee Hendren, of Lewiston, ID, was attempting to reach a remote cabin near Freeman Creek Rd, however he got lost while enroute before becoming stuck in the snow.
Search and Rescue crews were dispatched to the general area where a search was conducted. At approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Hendren was located by deputies and search and rescue crews.
According to a release from Clearwater County, Hendren was able to sleep in his vehicle overnight and sustained no injuries.
